ABOUT ME

Ky was born and raised in Ashton, Idaho, and is currently serving as the Assistant Visiting Professor of Scenic Design at The University of Southern Mississippi. Ky graduated from Utah State University with an MFA in Scenic Design and Technical Direction this past spring. 
He has worked on a wide range of productions, working extensively as both a scenic designer and technical director. His professional experience includes collaborations with Blackfoot Community Players, Utah State University Theatre, USU Opera, the Lyric Repertory Company, and the Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival.
Ky’s work reflects a deep passion for storytelling through visual design and craftsmanship. Outside of theatre, he enjoys life’s adventures with his wife, Alison, and their four children.
