MFA in Scenic Design/Technical Direction
I am in the process of earning my MFA in Scenic Design and Technical Direction, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Throughout my studies, I have completed various design courses, gaining experience with software such as Disguise and Vectorworks. In the spring 2024 semester, I served as the Instructor of Record for a Stagecraft course. Additionally, I have had numerous opportunities to work as a Teaching Assistant for classes including Scenic Design 1 & 2, Drafting 1, and Period Styles and Historic Interiors where I assisted in a study abroad program that involved visiting real historical sites, as well as six semesters of assistant teaching Production Practicum

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Theatre Education and am a licensed secondary education teacher. Throughout my studies, I took various classes, such as Stage Make-Up and Scenic Painting as well as Principals of Teaching and Assessment. I completed my student teaching at Rigby High School in Rigby, Idaho, where I had the opportunity to assist in directing "Anastasia."
